The sand sculpture of Charles III was created by Indian artist Sudarsan Pattnaik on the beach in Puri. So he wants to wish the British monarch a speedy recovery. He was recently diagnosed with cancer.
Charles III will not participate in public events for the time being. He has already started undergoing treatment. The palace says the king is optimistic and hopes to return to work soon.
Sudarsan Pattnaik is a famous Indian sculptor who works with sand. I became interested in this art as a child. He created dozens of compositions dedicated to important world events. Ten years ago, the Government of India awarded him the prestigious Padma Shri, the fourth highest award given to civilians.
