CHICAGO: 50+ CHRISTMAS TREES AT THE MUSEUM OF SCIENCE

CHICAGO: 50+ CHRISTMAS TREES AT THE MUSEUM OF SCIENCE

MORE THAN 50 CHRISTMAS TREES, DECORATED IN THE TRADITIONS OF DIFFERENT COUNTRIES, WERE PRESENTED IN CHICAGO.

A whole forest of Christmas trees was presented to the public at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago. The central place is occupied by a 15-meter high spruce tree. The rest are located throughout the museum’s halls.
In total, 57 Christmas trees sparkle here. They were decorated in the traditions of different countries. Next to each there is a short description. In 1942, one Christmas tree was used for the exhibition. Each day it was decorated anew to represent the traditions of the Allied countries that fought alongside America during World War II. Christmas decorations were changed over 12 days. Later there were more Christmas trees. They are still decorated by people of different nationalities. Museum guests can get acquainted with the culture of Austria, the Czech Republic, Romania, France and many other countries. This year the exhibition is dedicated to snow. Every half hour, artificial snowflakes begin to fly around the museum. The Christmas tree exhibition will last until January 7, NDT news reports.
